Hey, awesome – thanks for pitching in!
There’s two major areas we need help:
- Money
- Promotion
First, look at the IndieGoGo project, and look at the rewards we give. Please, consider giving to the project, even if it’s at it’s lowest level. Or, $10. Or $15. It all adds up. If 7,100 people gave $10, hey, we’ve made it!
Second, spread the word. Facebook it, Twitter It, Plus It, LinkedIn-It, Email It, Spread It Around! Email your local news – TV and newspaper – and tell them you’ve seen an interesting story. Hit up some of the high-traffic sites like BoingBoing, CNN, Daring Fireball, Neatorama, or anyplace else you can think of. While we only need 7,100 people to contribute $10, we still need 7,100 people to contribute $10! And the only way to do that is to get LOTS of attention!
We’ll be adding a list here of places you might consider hitting up, and maybe even a contact name and email, just to make it simple! If they run an article on us, we’ll be removing them from the contact list, BUT – we’ll also be adding them to a second list that has all the places that ran stories on The Save Ferris Project along with a link! So if you know someone who helped tell the world about us let us know in the comments so we can tip our hat to them!
